Ashley & Nick Are Married! :: Baltimore MD Wedding Photographer

Ashley & Nick are one of the most fun couples I’ve gotten to photograph and they are super sweet too. I remember Nick talking to Lydia and I during dinner, telling us how they were sitting there at their table and it just hit them that everyone was there for them and how great a feeling that was. I think him saying that just made me realize why weddings are such a happy event (and this might be totally obvious haha) but all of your closest friends and family are there not only celebrating your love for each other but also just being there to show their love for each of you… Oh, and to have a really really awesome & fun party! ;)

Oh and in case you didn’t notice… I can’t forget to mention Ashley’s other love, adorable little yorkie, Macey :) Sooo precious!

Ashley you are GORGEOUS!

Thank you so much to Lydia from Lydia Jane photography for these fantastic fun photos of the guys getting ready!

Time to celebrate with sparklers!! Love these shots just beforehand from Lydia!

LOVE these shots of the two of them – Ashley & Nick, thank you for letting my stretch my creative wings aka running around you with a lit sparkler like a nut :P

The best man’s speech had EVERYONE cracking up (including me from behind my camera). It went a little something like this.. “I saw that look of love in Ashley’s eyes, and it was like what you see in movies. And that’s when I knew… she was really in love with her dog Macey.” ;)

The decorations were beautiful and it all felt so Christmasy and cheerful :) Ashley you’re ring is SO beautiful. wow! Even the food was beautifully adored with an orchid.

Of course this was still definitely a party! And it was such a fun one:)

Dancing on the chair… round 1 ;) hahaha LOVED seeing everyone having such a good time!

^Name that dance? ;)

The winners of the anniversary dance – they had been together for 59 years! WOW. congratulations!

& back up on the chair they go ;) haha Ah! SUCH a fun reception! You all know how to have an awesome party! By the way, their last song was Pink’s “Raise your glass” – LOVE how they finished out the night on such a pumped up note!

  1. Marlayna! These are all so beautiful and so candid. You have such a good eye for the most simple photographs but they’re so original and share such private and celebratory moments! Keep up the good work :)
