At the Dog Park | Harford County Pet Photographer

Let me start this off by saying, I can be pretty awkward at times. & why do I say that? Well because it relates to how, the other day when I went to the dog park by the Ma & Pa trail in Bel Air with Kayla, I took my camera along so that I could take some photos of Kayla’s adorable dog Toby. The thing is, I just couldn’t resist taking photos of the other dogs as well! So back to the part where I’m awkward… I totally didn’t think to hand out cards to any of the owners! [slaps forehead in shame] so if somehow an owner sees these images and wonders why their dog is getting some time in the lime light… well it’s probably because they were too cute for me not to share! Anyway, hopefully I’ll be coming back frequently with Kayla because it was a lot of fun – and the next time I’ll be sure to give out some cards! :) Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be taking my dog Josh very much after Friday. Josh is a 10 year old golden retriever and I think he was just way too overwhelmed by all the excitement. I hate to realize how he’s getting older, because most of the time he still acts like such a puppy in his head! ..sigh.. anyway, on to some cute puppy pics!

Loved how the dogs would come up to check out the camera (that’s why some of them are so out of focus and up-close-and-personal :P)

In other news, I’ll share a brief summary of what happened the other night with the website. (Fortunately, most normal people were sleeping at that hour). Sadly, I was not. I had had a cup of coffee at like 9:00 and as usual, that meant I was up wide awake at 2 in the morning. So I wanted to try to edit the code for these galleries that I was having issues with. They would only upload 4 of the files for a slideshow – apparently this must have something to do with the main page’s display of a 4 image gallery.. so, thanks to some forums, I decided I would just go in and “comment out” a line in the code. yeah… about that. well I did it incorrectly I guess because the whole site basically shut down and even when I tried to access the admin area it wouldn’t open and just said “syntax error.” At that point I was freaking out thinking all the work I’d put into the site was gone. ugh. Fortunately, some more forum browsing made me realize I could get into the code from my hosting site itself, and finally I was able to fix things AND even get the galleries to work the way I wanted. Sounds like a nice little happy ending, but let me tell you I was freaking out when I thought it was all gone.

Anyway – that’s my awesome story. So much for brief, I do have a tendency to ramble some would say… :P
