Ali & Tim | Rustic Farm Wedding at Rocklands, Montgomery County Photographer
In honor of working on this lovely couple’s wedding album this week, I couldn’t resist pulling some images together here as well! And I just really love looking at these two & their wedding day! Ali is another lovely friend of mine that I got to meet back when we were both students in UMBC’s photo program! And as an added bonus, with each of us both working there still, we even get to bump into each other on campus sometimes now too!
Ah but back to Ali + Tim :) These two make me so happy! They are so down to earth and easy to get along with, and so incredibly happy when they’re together! Oh and they love good beer – which in my book = bonus points!! Even though the threat of rain meant shuffling the ceremony inside the barn, it was a beautiful decision that created such an intimate ceremony in a really sweet space! Of course it didn’t end up raining until after the ceremony and portraits (thanks, Mother Nature!! okay well there may have been some thunder during the portraits but we got inside after that haha) but their ceremony was perfect in the barn! Ali and Tim were married by a friend, who told a bit about their love story and how fate (and Virgin Music Festival) brought them together :) These two could not be any sweeter together – I am SO happy they found each other and extra happy to have photographed this amazing day! Enjoy all the love, and of course all the beautiful little details around the barn!

I had never heard of this one before.. but I guess technically it worked! Bury bourbon before the wedding to keep it from raining! Since it didn’t rain during the ceremony itself, I’d say this is a good tradition ;)
