Prometheus Bound | Harford County, MD Performance Photography
Okay hi! wow, where have I been right? What have I been up to?! I know you are all dying to know (jk, jk). Well the point is I feel like I semi-vanished from the blog for a period of time, but I’ve actually been doing some stuff that I’d love to post here! Bear with me though – it happens to be 1:20 in the morning and I just got home from an awesomely long and thought-provoking coffee sesh with fellow photographer B Allen! :) Really excited about all these ideas we were discussing about a project we are going to try to start working on, and hopefully make a book/maybe eventually try to hang in a local store or gallery! So forgive me if I’m a little scattered at the moment, but all this talk has got me feeling a wave of motivation and I need to take advantage of it!
So, because I’m just a little bit OCD at times, I wanna update the blog chronologically… I still need to share a good deal of wedding photos here from Erin & David’s wedding, but I’ve also been doing some other things since then. Recently, I was asked to photograph some promotional rehearsal shots for a classmate from high school, who is now directing his own theatre productions. Right now, Ryan is working on Prometheus Bound through the BOOM Theatre Company, which I can tell you seems like it’s going to be a really awesome performance from what I got to listen in on and document the other night! I definitely suggest you check out those facebook pages and mark the dates on your calendars! :)
Now, before I totally burn out of steam and fall asleep, here are some photos from the rehearsal! :)
Also while I was there, I sort of did a quick round of headshots… actually, it started out just as a way for me to document names and faces, but I found myself liking the end result anyway. So just a reminder – if you’re looking for headshots for professional, performance or senior portraits… I’m your gal!!
& That’s a quick look at the cast! Seriously, be sure to check this out – it seems to me like it’ll be a great performance, and it’s always good to support local art!! :)
Alright – time for me to get some sleep now and stop being such a night owl.. but stay tuned for more updates soon, I promise!
