Blurred Boundaries Art Opening & Jordan Apartment Open House

When Jessica Wyatt first told me about an event she’d be helping host, involving local Baltimore artists and the theme of “Blurred Boundaries,” I was immediately in! When she told me it would take place in a new apartment building, I had a lot of questions! haha This was a new concept to me, but one that ended up being such a fun event to experience and photography! & I totally trusted that if Jess was involved, it would turn out great and would be thoughtfully done. And it was!

This pop-up exhibition hosted by Jessica Wyatt and Kim Loper Art at The Jordan Apartments was such a cool way to tour new apartments while supporting talented local artists! Somerset Developement partnered with Jessica and Kim to deliver a unique Open House experience – letting guests tour several opened apartment suites, while the art hung on the available rooms’ walls! As someone who loves touring new apartments and homes (for fun and online), this was an awesome way to bring the community together for a fun evening out this summer! Plus catering from the restaurant below, The Tilted Row , was a delicious bonus (I can attest to this! YUM!) and music by DJ Sound Chakra ToriTawk  made it a party!

In total, the exhibition featured 14 artists and collected donations towards the Feminist Art Project Scholarship Fund!
