A Wedding Album flip-through preview
Kelly & Greg’s Fall teal wedding at Hillendale was just shared on the blog, so what could be the better follow up to that than sharing their lovely wedding album today? Of course, I’m totally in love with the colors they choose, especially the beautiful darker shade of teal, which just happens to be the same shade from our wedding too! :) (which uh.. is exactly 6 months ago today?! whoa!! <3 )
I’m hoping to share even more previews of albums in the future too. I always recommend to couples the importance of considering ordering an album of their wedding day photos. It’s the perfect way to have a physical copy of your images to flip through any time you’d like, and especially on anniversaries! It’s way too easy to figure that all your photos are on you computer to look through any time you want, but with the hundreds of photos you get digitally now, that can be a pretty overwhelming task. Granted, we STILL have to get on delving into our own album decisions, so another piece of advice is to tackle it sooner than later! The more time that passes, the harder it can be to have the motivation to do it.
In order to help make the process a little less daunting, I’ve also started to offer to couples that I’ll help by picking images for their first design draft. All they need to choose are their must-have family portrait shots, and if there are any reception photos they love most. This way, couples don’t have to worry so much about deciding what images look best together to tell the complete story of the day, and I actually love doing that part so it’s a win-win and has seemed to work out really well lately! I’m also so in love with the album company I’ve been using too – Queensberry, which is actually located in New Zealand! Despite the long-distance though, the albums still arrive in a pretty timely manner and the quality is always incredible. Check out Kelly & Greg’s flushmount wedding album below and just try not to fall in love! :)
P.S. Don’t you just love it when your area rug matches your color scheme AND the album cover so perfectly?! ha!!
